Asparagus (right)


Oil on 1/8" Board. Approx 6"x6" SOLD

This is my first time painting asparagus. It's a subject that I really enjoy and will do more in the future...guess what tomorrow's painting will be.

it is one of my favourite vegetables to eat and look at. it is wonderful how you have captured the fragility of the asparagus in this painting.

So much to love about this. Beautiful light, it radiates. Clearly I have snow-bound delirium, because I see it as the legs of a luxuriating sunbather.

Fantastic and elegant, Mike!

The colors are wonderfully neutral yet warm and rich.

I love how the table and the asparagus itself breaks up the space.

And I could almost swear part of the asparagus stem appears to glow!
